Let's start over......
The oil slick is a little east of me but closer to where I work. May get up into the drinking water systems and have a real bad effect on the shrimping and fishing industry. Work boat's from the area are really hitting a bonanza. Port Fourchon and Venice are bustling right now trying to get the spill contained.
I've been doing research on oil spills in the gulf and historically they protect inlets, bays, and marshes and let the oil hit the sandy beaches.
Been saying lots of prayers for you guys.
The Grand Isle area and the beaches in Mississippi are the only sandy ones around. They are worried about the wind shifting and blowing oil into Lake Pontchartrain. If the oil goes east it could mess up the Alabama and Florida beaches too.
It's bad but like I told Stealth it's a little bit east from where I'm at. Closer to Southern Plaquemines and St. Bernard parishes. Prime hunting and fishing spot's will be effected plus hurting the commercial fishing industry that is just getting back on it's feet after the hurricanes they were hit with in the last 5 yrs. almost put them out of business. I hope the oil stays away from Grand Isle where the beaches were just getting to look great after the storms that hit them in the past few year's. Be careful in the flower garden's, dangerous work! Hard to find a level spot for a beer can!

I know. Already spilt 2. That's alcoholic abuse right there.
I just joined a country club. Going to start back with the golf playing again. And, I will be buying your rims within the next 2-3 weeks.
My garage is really getting clean now!
Just can't be on the 22nd. Daughter's getting married.
