Ok got a stupid question for you guys, I have cash to go out with Kayla tomorrow, but I want to get gas today and I pay in cash. Do most restaurant's accept checks? I know it sounds dumb, but I don't want to get screwed. I have a few other things planned so my 60 bucks or so for gas would leave me 60 left and if I pay in check at the restaurant, I will be set and not have to worry about it.

Keep the cash write a check for the gas.

Yeah plentyI just need to get gas so I need to go to the bank to replenish what I have in cash
I am going to go get gas in a bit, then get her an iced coffee with a giftcard I have then head over early so she can take a break before I start my shift
Then the bank across from Target I go to and it's open tomorrow 8-12, so I'll swing in, right a check to myself and replenish what I need and then go visit 
Most stations electronicly verify you have funds by scanning the check.

My mom jsut called me and I asked her, she said to jsut get the gas in cash and then she'll give me what I need for tomorrow to be safe and then she'll just take the cash from my account. Works for me. Gotta go shower and then ru a few errands before work. Take care guys!

You know how many gallons your tank is just make an educated guess and you should be close.
