I actually had something to do for 6 out of 10 hours today.

 

At work I'm bonding on some closeouts in the c0ckpit. I wish I was at home drinking beer.

And starting in about 15 minutes I will too.

 

I left early. Ate dinner and am drinking a couple of Rahr Ugly Pug Black Lagers.

 

I could use a beer about now.

Just got back from the "Hard Dock". Decent little joint on the river. Had me a catfish po' boy, some fries and several miller lites.

is it just me or does this sound like a place where the dress code is black leather ***-less chaps, Greek fisherman's hats, and latex tank tops

 

Actually it's at the very northern edge of town so all the people with money go there. And I sneak in the back door.

It's an older (than me) crowd. 40's-50's is the majority.

It's right on the river. Has a bunch of dock space so you can pull up in your boat and come in for some good food and a beer.
