but seriously just go for it, you'll be able to tell in the first seconds if she's just being nice or if she's looking directly into your eyes waiting for you to say something

God I hope so... she seems interested, but there is only one way to find out. I really appreciate you guy giving me a hand with this. I don't know why I am having such trouble, I talk to girls all the time...going for one I don't know in a situation like this makes it hard. I am going to do my best and am just hoping that she is there tomorrow.

Thanks again guys and sorry for making this a discussion on here...

If she seems interested go for it! I was just thinking if she seems shy it might be better to wait a few days.
Then we could show her this thread

Yeah I hear ya... I have to man up and just go for it to find out. Missing ym chance on Monday made me realize how stupid I was to not make a better go for it.

I'm the same way as you. It seems easy ya know. Just go up and say something and see what she says back, if she says no oh well, but for me it aint that easy. I have to know her for a while and see how she is and how to relate to her. It's like a second job!

Exactly... but I thought of it this way:

Everyone has to put something at risk in a relationship. I am not going to lie... I haven't had any serious relationships. I let chances pass me by because I was too young, or not interested, or just plain dumb and didn't put myself out there. When you think of relationships that your parents have, you might be surprised hwo they met. My mom won't talk about how she met my dad, but my dad told me. My mother and her brothers and sisters (8 total) wanted to get thier dad's F150 pinstriped (not gay pinstriping, I mean real pinstriping - my dad is one of the best, if not the best in the area that I have ever seen. He's doing my truck very very soon ) but she was in a relationship and she saw my dad. I don't know what went down, but they have been married over 20 years. I figure why not just go for it. You guys have been kind enough to help me overcome my nervousness to some degrees and also my friends (mostly adults) that I work with. One little moment of awkwardness is all it takes. if she is interested, then I will know, if not... Oh well. Chances like this I have learned need to be taken. Hell, this girl could end up being my wife... you never know. Prolly not, but you get the idea. I'm not going to lie, I'm a nice kid and think I have a lot to offer. I got overlooked at times in HS cause I was one of the few people who actually stayed true to myself and didn't change by values or interests based off of what others did. I found I had more friends than close friends, but as time went on, I found close friends that realized who I really am. Common sense tells me any girl who is not a biotch wants to be with a guy that will take care of her, but let her be independent and live her own life. I am not interested in bossing someone around or telling them how to act. I need to date girls that aren't party freaks cause I don't do that. And Ultimately the only way to find out is to grow a pair and make more aggressive moves. It's my turn to do that.

Hey just take a shot at her tomorrow. There's a good possibility she'll say yes. Even if she does say no, maybe try to get to be her friend and see where that leads. Just bein her friend for a while could change her mind.

Tell her you drive a truck! Last year one of my buddies was askin me what he should say to this girl that he wanted to ask out. I said "Just tell her you drive a truck." Now I was kidding and didn't think he'd actually say it but he did and they've been goin out for over a year.

Morning Slackers. Well, I see that John is still slacking. I guess we'll hit the 40,000 post mark pretty soon on this subject on how to TALK TO WOMEN.

I sure hope so. I'm about all out of things for him. It's about to make me start drinking on the job.
