Watching the Baylor/Tech game in HD on my new 40" flatscreen. I can't believe I've went this long without it. Those black friday's aren't so bad after all. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

Good morning everyone! Great coaching by Les Miles and a great field goal kicker helped LSU beat Arkansas in OT. Always a close game with these two team's. Hope everyone's team won.

Funny how a win in a game LSU definitely should have lost brightens the fan's day.

Well I had to go to the doctor today, CareNow. Cough was getting much worse. At times when I cough really hard I cannot breathe afterward, like I'm drowning or something, windpipe all constricted.

They took a chest x-ray and did blood work. I have a severe case of bron****is, borderline walking pneumonia. Gave me a steroid shot, prescribed me an asthma inhaler, cough suppressant with codeine, and a very strong antibiotic. Taking the day off tomorrow.

I hate freaking needles and I got stabbed twice!

Same here, if the doctor told me I needed a shot or I was going to die, I'd have to think about it, I HATE needles.

The steroid shot was OK. Had to take the shot in the hip. The nurse was feeling around for my hip bone and I asked "You're going to give me a shot in my bone?" and her and my wife just laughed.

Honestly the steroid shot was painless, the taking of the blood in my right arm freaking hurt and felt like there was lightning in my arm for a couple of hours. My wife says I'm a weakling.

Another one here that can't take needles. I can't stand the feeling of the stuff going into my body, out of the needle. Years ago, I would get cavities filled at the dentist, with no deadner. I hated the needle worse than the drill. LOL

I don't mind getting shots. I've never gotten blood taken but I know I'd break down and start cryin.

Now the dentist, that's a whole other story. That places scares me.
