Let's start over......
its attached to the airbox on my truck not sure how yours is laid out but assuming you know what it looks like, just disconnect it from the intake hose and air box and spray the inside of it
if you have the 5.4, you need a torx screwdiver, the correct size, and I don't know what that is. There are 2 screws.

Cool and SUNNY. It took Pam awhile to send me some sunshine. Just a day late. But sure is nice to see it. It's been 3 weeks since we seen it around here.
Just woke up... Morning everyoneBlue... is there any way you could take some pics of the area just to be sure? I would probably do it moday after school
I will try to get some pics this afternoon and get them posted.

In the meantime. Are you familiar with the Torx heads? They look sort of like a star shape.
The MAF is about 1" by 2" and is mounted on the air tube just before it gets to the throttle body. It is on the drivers side. if you stand at the fender just in front of the mastercylinder and look at the air tube where it has turned right and headed for the throttle bosy, you will be looking right at it.
There are wires going to it and a plug. Carefully remove that plug, and there will be two torx screws. Remove the screws and then the unit will slide out with a tug. DO NOT TOUCH THE LITTLE WIRE. It is brittle. Those guys that clean it with a qtip take a chance I do not want to.
Spray the wire a few times with CRC and let it dry. Then, reinstall. Very easy.

So the MAF unit goes into the airbox correct? That is what I am picturing and I will have to double check to make sure. Looking from the bumper to the windshield, the MAF is on the right handside correct?
I'll see iof my dad has the torq screw bit, but I might have to purchase a set

Yes, if you raise the hood, go around the driversside fender and stand about even with the end of the master cylinder, you should be looking right at it. Ill, get the pics after this game!
Gotta watch Okla and the Longhorns.
