Yes it is.

Looking at stereo stuff. All this time I wasn't going to get anything, now I've decided to just do it. :o

All I need is another mod bug.

Well the HU I like is the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X693.

Thinking of getting a loaded enclosure from supercrew sound with 2 Image Dynamics ID10D4V.3 speakers. May already have an amp lined up.

Just trying to figure things out. Lots have changed since I've played this sound system game. :o

I likes. Stereo's are like computers these days. Buy one today, tomorrow, they have something better.

Well as long as I can play CD's, ipod, have factory coloration, and listen to FM and AM radio I'm good. I don't need all that fancy mumbo jumbo crap.

As for the sub system, that's where it gets interesting. I for years had underpowered subs (2 kicker 12's) in my car and was happy with them. Now I just want to do it right the first time.

Sounds neat Stealth... When I complete my truck over the years... the stereo will be the last thing I do.

Yeah... your truck is pretty darn nice from what I can see. I think after college I will have a bit more money to play with so I will stop showing progress on my truck when that happens and finish it. Then show the transformation once completed. Much more shocking doing that than showing each individual mod

I hear you. I do love good sound. All I have is 2 Kicker 100.1 amps with two 8" Kicker comps woofers. I like the why I have it set up with my DD unit. I just don't like all that glass breaking bass. Just like to feel the sound, not the bomb sounding stuff.
