Well we got our new puppy the night before last. Got her from a friend of a friend since the kids couldn't decide on anything from helping hands humane. It's a strange breed. A cross-breed actually. Crossed between a rat and a rabbit.

Now there is a mouth full. Common name like Maggie, then such a sophistcated sounding name like Marissa. That's cute.

Well the twins named her. One picked the first and the other picked her middle name. And I'm the one that has gotten up at 4 am the last 2 mornings to take her out. Imagine that. The boy did a really good job with her yesterday, though. Hopefully we'll get her house broken in the next 7-10 days.

My Maggie was named with the old Rod Stewart song from the 70s in mind. Not really a compliment I guess, but I always really liked that song, "Maggie Mae". Just seemed to fit her.
