dang blue a 2 foot drop?

either drop will be fine for reliability. might not hurt to put a little newer coils under the truck. i already said i can look over the suspension and make sure it has a clean bill of health

Then i like the 1/3. The pumpkin/drive shaft will stay in alignment. Right?

yeah she will probably need 6* shims which i happen to have an extra set of

i might grab up a digital pinion angle gauge ive been wanting and we can make sure its all okay.

pam do you happen to know if you've ever changed the Ujoints? as long as the angle isnt out we dont have to worry about them but at the same time thats alot of miles shes got and i would like to see the truck keep on running strong

I do not think that the u joints have ever been replaced. I'll go through my service receipts (that I can find) and see what I can come up with. I haven't had to do much at all to the truck, so there may be some stuff under there that will need to be replaced. Either one of the drops is fine with me. Whatever you and Jim decide.

Should I go ahead and order the shocks? If so, tell me for certain which ones to get please. Thanks!

I'll do whatever you recommend. When you check it out - just let me know and we can get it all taken care of.

well we need to decide 100% which drop you want to do before you place an order. i think both jim and I are recommending and would like to see the truck dropped 1/3. i know you say its up to us but ultimately its your truck and you need to make the final decision.

That is going to look sweet... 1/3 means 1" front drop and 3" rear, right?

Correct. Under consideration is just a 2" drop in the rear, or a 1" in the front and 3" in the rear.

Also, new Bilsteins and a honeycomb grille painted red. Paint the grille surround as well as the grey valance. Everything on the front will be red except the chrome bumper strip.

I would prefer the 1/3.
