Just pulled my foglights out to paint them. Whoever put my truck together crossthreaded the adjustment bolts on the passenger foglight. I'm too tired to mess with it tonight so I'll continue sometime this week.

You taking them off brackets and all? That's the best way to do it.

Be careful with the crappy chrome. It comes off just by touching it. Super sticky tape definitely will ruin it. I got the weak masking tape, hardly stuck and it still stripped some chrome off.

Yeah I plan on getting most of the stickyness off of the tape before I attach it. What did you use to cover up the rest of the chrome? Just some newspaper?

I didn't try. I made an early decision to put it off until this evening. That way, I could slack in comfort. Relaxed slacking is much more enjoyable that stressed slacking.
