Time for breakfast. I'm really surprised I'm not sore from all that digging at my parents place yesterdeay. Digging stumps from 30 year old bushes out by hand ain't easy. One of them was wrapped around a 3" PVC pipe. Fun fun fun.

Bout time you did a little physical labor! It's good for you.

I am soon to not be hungry once more.

My wife wants to get rid of a wysteria bush and my daughter wants it. So guess who got elected to dig it up. Those things have roots going every which direction! I get to dig it up before our next trip to Sugar Land. I'll call you!

I did get the chainsaw running. But, we will be using a grubbing hoe or a pick and a shovel. It's only been there about 12 years.

yah we dug up some cedar bushes in our front yard a couple years back, in the flower garden.... Had some roots going up under the foundation. We pretty much just left everything 1" and smaller in the ground.

At work taking a lunch break

My dad planted those plants way too close to the house. Lots of roots were under the house, but we had to be wary of the sprinkler system. The next 4 bushes will be even harder, sidewalk on one side, porch on the other.
