Bought and planted a Threadleaf Japanese Maple today, acer palmatum viridis. It's a short specimen tree, good for planting under trees, in the partial shade. Only grow to about 6' tall. Here's a few images of some.








The leaf is rather nice looking.

I know. You should see the Texas Star hibiscus leaf I have.
