I have to be in Elizabethtown KY for work within the next few days to inspect a building. I have ALWAYS loved Jim Beam obviously. I am going to go to the plant and check it out. I am soooo excited!!!

 

I went through the Anheuser Busch brewery in St. Louis a while back, it was pretty cool too see how it all works.

 

Should be pretty neat. I was watching Dirty Jobs and Mike was putting the barrels together that they age the whiskey in. They better give out some samples

 

Be sure to drive on into Bardstown (about 20 min) and check out all of the Distilleries there also. In particular Heaven Hill. Their top two brands are Elijah Craig and Evan Williams. Beam and Heaven Hill both give samples. At least they did a few years ago.

 

My trip got delayed a couple weeks.

 

If you plan on sampling, take a taxi!
