Anyone Have A Verizon Cell Phone
Nextel's push to talk is the best, but their cell service just stinks. It's hard trying to compare Verizon to Sprint to AT&T to (fill in the blank), service quality varies in all market areas. Customer service varies too. I don't think you can make a categorical statement that Provider X is the "best". What one person is totally satisfied with, another can totally hate. I've had cell phones for close to 20 years now, Ameritech, then Cellular One, which became Cingular, which became AT&T. It's not always been a smooth road, I've had excellent service and customer service, but I've also had bad times.
Overrall, I'd say that I've been satisfied with Verizon service in this market. It's not perfect but, I don't think any of them are, really.
edit: I should add that I have a ATT phone provided by my office in addition to my personal phone (which ultimately gets used more for work than for personal) so I do have a fairly decent comparison tool in that I carry both services. ATT, in all honesty, beats Verizon for me around this area. While I'm not using the ATT device for data, the voice network seems to beat Verizon pretty readily. Also, it should be said that we're in ATT's backyard (formerly Bellsouth's network)... they're HQ'd out of Nashville thus, their network is VERY strong here in this 'southern' region.

Verizon is hands down the best service provider I have had. My friends have cingular and their phones SUCK!!! Anyways I had sprint and at&t before this, but verizon just can't be beat for coverage and reliability
Oh I have the V phone also

I think it boils down to who has the best coverage in your area. We use T-Mobile and carry quad band phones. The phone finds the nearest service, regardless of who's tower, and uses it. There is no extra charge from T-Mobile or anybody else. The plan we are on gives us 3000 minutes, no long distance, and weekends free and the entire bill is right at $150.00 month including all of the fees and taxes. Might want to see how that works in your area.
I use Verizon. I like it a lot, good coverage in most areas out west.
I dont get very good service in the duck blind tough. But thats alright, since thats the place i DO NOT want to be bothered or interrupted.

The wife and I got verizon in 2000 and I ave never had a problem. Go to a local store if you need help, avoid calling those guys, I think they are pricey but I always have service.
Yep, I use the Vcast stuff---and
I have had no problems with Verizon here in Ohio---it is one of the few phones that can be picked up down in Southeastern Ohio, wehre my daughter attends college.
I have had Verizon for about 10 years, and it has been trouble-free for me.

Can't tell you for sure on that one, honestly... I've not yet used ATT's data network. I plan on that changing on Saturday though...
Bummer, man. I really work for a great company. While oodles of environmental firms have either downsized or folded around us, we continue to be strong.
*knock on wood*
We've been lucky but, we really have a great group of folks that really can make it happen...
