I think thats for moving violations. All of mine are non-moving or have been moved to non-moving.

-Verbal warning for "weaving"
-3 tickets for burnt out headlight
-written warning for driving with highbeams on
-ticket for 60 in 45
-verbal warning because temp tag had fallen out of my window
-written warning for no tag lights
-verbal warning because my plate was bent out of shape, held on by one screw and hanging down behind the bumper
-pulled over for chasing some kid with an axe in a hurricane. (Long story short, I wasn't chasing him. He got pulled for like 70 in a 40 and when I passed he told them I was chasing him. They spotted me later and pulled me over. I had an axe in the car and they were very pissed about that. Plus it was in the middle of a hurricane. In the end they let me go though.)
-verbal warning 95 in a 40 (still not sure how I got out of that one)
-ticket for "racing" (which cop told me was a lesser charge than speeding. After some research I discovered I'd been charged with a misdemeanor. Took several months of court appearences and pulling strings to get it dismissed)
-multiple stops by game wardens for various stuff
-written warning for having a shotgun in a Wildlife Management Area out of hunting season

I know there are a couple more but I can't remember them. And I've only been driving for 4 years.

Wow, I'd hate to be paying insurance on a young driver with records like that!

I've been driving for over 40 years so I don't remember the exact numbers. I've never been pulled over for anything more serious than speeding, equipment violations, or expired tags. I'd guess maybe 15 pullovers, maybe 5 tickets.

Most recent was last month, 81 in a 75, out in the middle of nowhere on I-94 in Montana. Written warning.

O lets see, Ive been good for a while but not at first.
1. 2nd day i had my liscense had some dude riding me and so i started going faster and faster, 75 in a 50, turned out it was the drug cop in some blacked out explorer, got a ticket
2. got a warning for 50 in a 40
3. got a ticket for illegally passing someone, street racing, and going 75 in a 30, got it dropped down to 45 in a 30.
4. got a ticket for going 41 in a 30.
that was all within the first year and a half of driving. ive been good lately. takes forever to speed now a days.
As far as getting tickets and warnings while not in a vehicle, well i suppose another thread would need to be started

How'd you manage to get a speeding ticket moved to a non-moving violation?

The cop who gave me my ticket is notorius for being a ****head so they understood where i was coming from. My dad helped me on one of them and the other one I just asked what I had to do and they said it has been taken care of.

Count your blessings man! It's really not the ticket that's expensive, it's the extra insurance you end up paying for the next 5 years that really sucks!

I had my license for about 6 months and was stopped for 72 in a 55. Passing on a double yellow. Ticket.
On the way to work one morning and every day I got behind the same school bus. Passed on a double yellow, in a non-flashing (thank god) school zone. Sheriff stopped me and told me that if he didnt have a important meeting to be at in 5 min that he would have tore me a new a$$! Verbal Warning
Rolled through a stop sign after fiance's sisters graduation party. I had the back seat of the car full of balloons. Didnt know I was being pulled over till a half mile later. Ask me if I had been drinking. Of course I hadnt been. That was the "family" party. Asked me where I was going. Told him home which as another half mile away. Verbal Warning.
Rolled through stop sign on my road as cop was almost passing by. Written warning.

Man this thread brings back so many memories. I'm 58 years old and bought a new 1969 Z-28 when I was 17 years old. Man the speeding tickets racked up. But the funny thing is we all meet at a local gas station after it closed, sat around and BS, then would go out to the local strip in the country and drag race. In those days, we sat around in our cars drinking beer and the local cops would come by and chat with us while we were drinking or favorite brew. Imagine doing that today. Open container, DUI, hand cuffed and hauled of to jail. I don't do that anymore Bad thing was that I got drafted in the military 6 months later. I remember the letter.."You are herby inducted to armed forces by the president of the USA" Or something like that. So I lost alot of $ on that deal, btw, my new 69 Z-28 cost $3,400. Brand new. lol

One day after school I got a 74 in a 55. Officer was using lidar and I got a printout so not even worth arguing. Paid it, took the class to get the points off and bought the truck. Now I only go 5 over and don't really care when I get there. Just have to adapt your driving style. Cruise control is my best friend Oh yea, I had just turned 18 a few days prior and the officer even said happy birthday to me when he gave me the ticket Telling my dad was the hardest part by far. I though he was going to kick my ***, but he said you get one freebie, pay it and take the class. Next time there will be consequences.

I almost got caught speeding one day a couple months ago! Scared the **** out of me! I was going 58 in a 55 just chillin. Then I look over to my right and there is a 45 sign and I'm just passing it. Well what do you know I'm the only one on the road and I look to my right and there is a sheriff staring right at me with his lidar. Well I let off the gas and though OH S***!!!!! He didn't budge for some reason and man was I thankful. I wasn't even trying to speed you know? Those are the times that just suck! Anyways I had my fun and have been over 100 before, but I had to put that all behind me, especially with the VA reckless fines!!!
