I came to Oklahoma From Phx, AZ. Im in southern Ok so its kinda the same. A little more grass. gas is a little cheaper, people are generaly nice southern people. temps are a little cooler then cali but the humity is alot higher. but anyway welcome to Oklahoma...
I currently live in Tulsa. Summers are hot and humid, but coming from the Cali desert they won't seem too bad. We tend to have a lot of ice every winter. We have some snow but the ice is typically the major problem. Snow gets worse as you go west from Tulsa but better as you go south, so Ada might not be too bad.
We have major hailstorms every couple of years. In you might also see the infrequent tornado.

Jk I live in north Texas, and am in Oklahoma often. Its a great place with good people and some of the most beautiful country you will ever see.
