Converting KL650R to street legal in TX

I'm looking at a KL650R. It's an "enduro" type bike. It's the off-road version but has a headlight and tail light. Any idea what would be involved in getting this legalized for street usage in TX? The owner has a title.

Thanks

Turn signals and a state inspection probably.

Blinker's front and rear and DOT approved tires should be about all it will take to get it street legal! I had an 01 KLR 250 and it was a blast to ride around town on but was way to light and underpowered for the interstate though!

Don't think I'll have to worry about lack of power from this one.

I should probably just call TxDOT

Power shouldn't be any problem with a 650. Yea that's probably your best bet it shouldn't be too hard to get it street legal! I wish I could get my four wheeler street legal but Louisiana DOT say's I can't!

TX says the same thing. I wanted to get mine legalized. Apparently the live axle in the rear makes the inspection fail. Also the lack of a title didn't help.
