You guys don't get a chance to feel too many big quakes do you? I am more or less used to the minor (less than 3.5) quakes, and only really feel the bigger ones when they tumble through.

Hey, I'll trade you our earthquakes for a tornado or two. I <3 tornadoes.

You can have these tornadoes if you want them. I mean i really seriously don't think you do. Have you ever experienced a tornado? It was the scariest thing i ever experienced and the one i was near was just a small one i can only imagine what a large one would be like.

I'm sure with you living in Southern Illinios you know where Evansville, Indiana is right? Remember that tornado that hit there about 2 years ago probably. It made national news. Thats the closest I have ever been to a tornado and that sucker was 50 miles south on me. I am always intrigued by tornados but when the sky gets dark like that and starts hailing not little pee gravel sized ***** but literally golf ball sized hail, thats when I get a little uneasy. Oh and when your power goes out that makes me a little jumpy too..

Murray Ky here (Western)... I sure felt it.

I popped up outta bed real fast because I thought someone was banging on the front door. It was actually the sliding closet doors and shower doors rattling.

My fiance and I both woke up instantly.... and we're both usually heavy sleepers.

Yeah i go to evansville quite a bit. I live in Eldorado about an hour away if you know where that is. Probably not haha but yep. I do remember that one though. We get all kinds down here in southern illinois. I love storms and stuff but like you said when the sky goes dark and the nado sirens start going off you get a very eery feeling. Especially for me because i kinda live out in the country so when you hear the sirens they are kind of faint.
