None of the three current candidates have made a pledge to pull out of Iraq.

That's not exactly true. When pinned down, nobody will commit 100% to a pull out; but, Obama has said that the first order of business, if he's elected, is to START pulling out of Iraq. That can be taken many ways. There are those that assume that he intends a pull out; because, that's what they want.

Madame Clinton has made slightly less strong statements along the same vein.

McCain, as far as I know, has not even implied a pull out from Iraq.

McCain or anyother pres. doesn't need to have a platform for a pull out. We need a 20year pessense there to have enough time to educate the preople there.. They the fanatics started this war{even though the problem has been there for centuries} they will thin with time if we stay out of their religous affairs. It is the educating and Ideals that will end this.

Other wise the plan is simply to keep them in kaos to continue the statice quo!
