WSIB want to get the message across, because there are too many people milking the system.

kudos to WSIB for having a ballsy ad campaign.

Accidents like that happen all the time right across North America.

Workplace safety is alarge issue in Ontario right now, Ministry of Labour is clamping down hard. There have been numerous construction sites in my area shut down due to safety infractions. Companies are constantly going for different training sesions such as fall arrest, WHIMS, First aid and CPR.

I know myself, I am the Health and Safety rep for my Ambulance Base and we just had the Ministry of Labour inspectors come through. They only picked out a few things at my base, but at our other 2 bases they found alot of issues in need of repair, but mind you our base is only a year old so things are up to code. They even brought in an Ergonomist in to inspect our Ambulance to ensure that the layouts of our ambulances would not cause any health and safety issues.

The Ministry Of Labor hired quite a number of inspectors over the last few years. They're the flavor of the month. First it was the Ministry of Transportation, back in the Paladini days with wheel-offs on big rigs, and they hired a whack of officers, then it was Walkerton, and the Ministry of Environment hired a whack of investigators. Now it's the MOL.

It's almost cyclical.
