I raced a 98? ish Sonoma with my ol' 88 Crown Vic once. The retard asked me what's under the hood, I said it's a 150 hp 302 We raced and raced and I beat him like a red headed step child. Then at a light he thaught I was tailgating and wanted to fight, actually got out and went up to my door. When he saw the size difference from me to him, he backed off quick. I offered to smack both him and his friend around but all I got was some scared chickens, go figure.
A good fair race was my truck vs a 2wd GMC reg cab short box. It must of had the 4.8 because I took him out of the hole and it was a while before he caught me very slowly and he just won. By this time we were freakin flying, like easily 180 km/h in the city.

The best race I have is my buddies 03 hemi with intake exhaust and superchips on 91. me with intake exhaust efans and troyer tunes on 91. I take him for a length till about 60mph then he catches and takes a length till 110, then i pass him back about 1/2-1 length at 120mph and then he slowly creeps past me and keeps going. I also got beat by a chick with a 98 chev ec/sb 350 vortec 2wd with superchips...

yea i am not sure what size motor the sonoma had. its a 6cylc. thats all i know it was the double cab one too his speedo only goes to 100mph as does mine, but he has no where the weight as mine does. if he has the 4.3l shouldnt he have beaten me or what?
