you guy's are freakin' idiots.

he didn't say anything about banning Newsweek or the NY times.

He is just saying don't let all the negativity of the media get in your heads and make you forget how good you really have it!

If you're going to "cut n paste" an article into a post, at least tell people who wrote it, or where you got it, to avoid letting people think you are the actual author of that article.

If the author is unknown, even something like:
Hey, I got this in my email today and wanted to share it" would be good enough.

So now I will try to be more positive and thank myself for everything good in my life, LOL

No, Bush is a puppet. For that I am happy as I have lost faith in his ability to lead this nation. He has a great supporting cast, thats the only thing that has helped us thus far.

As for cutting taxes, yes, it did help for the time being. But it was a short term resolution. Hence the situation with the US economy today.

Isn't this like saying "we live in the land of the free, BUT you can't believe anything in the media " Sounds like a contradiction to me...

Don't get me wrong, as a Canadian, I'm very appreicative of the freedoms we all have.
The Presedent did lead us after 9/11. In very meaningful ways. Without his ideas and guidance, we wouldn't know what to be pissed about. Tax cuts temporary? Guess so... the dumbocrats didn't extend all his tax cuts after 2010. In case you didn't know, the tax cuts INCREASED the tax revenue to the government. It is the idiots who saw that and spent all of it and more into oblivion. There IS a difference. Do you believe everything the media says? Last I checked, the "media" is made up of human beings just like you and me... we all have opinions and they do bleed into what we say, no matter how objective we try to be. The polls show that the vast majority of the "media" are democrats. So it stands to reason the news has there personal leftist slant to it.

You can criticize the presedent... just don't be making things up and fill it with hate. If you have an honest disagreement, fine. But the hate filled rhetoric that has been the last 6 years of his presidency is ridiculous.

What poll would that be? Could you show us some of these polls?

Just so YOU know, Clinton's tax increases in the 90's also increased tax revenue. It's not quite so simple.

sorry habibi... I had written more but the post had to many words. I didn't want to cut up the main article, so I got rid of what I wrote about it. Author unknown. It came to me in a email saying jay leno wrote it. I snoped it and it is false. No known author. I just thought it was true and wanted to share.

We all like the tax cuts, but how do you feel about the deficit spending?

It really is that simple. Clintons tax increase did NOT raise revenue to the government. Here is a good article that you may understand.

Understand this: every time taxes have been lowered, the revenue went up. Kennedy did it. It worked. Others since have done it... It worked. We are over taxed now. It will work now.

screw50, that is exactly what I said on my post. The spending has to stop. Taxes need to go down.

Please, I could find a hundred articles claiming one thing or the other. If you really think it's that simple, you shouldn't be discussing the subject. There is much more to do than a temporary increase in federal income. Without any sustained faith in the economy and/or stimulation, the increased intake won't continue. There are people that spend thier lives studying our economy, and they don't have a solid answer, what makes you think you or I have a clue, or that anything involving the economy is so simple.

Besides, according to you, and your post, we all have it great, why are you complaining about being taxed? What are you complaining about? Is it that you have electricity and water 24x7? Is it that you are employed or can go to the grocery store any time you want? Is it that you can afford a new vehicle? (Do I need to continue?) Stop buying the negativism you are fed everyday by the media.

Did you come up with any of those polls yet, or did you just hear about them?

But hey, Chris--wasn't Kennedy one of those "dumbocrats" that you despise so much---hum? Are you in anyway, shape, or form admitting that some "dumbocrats" (I enjoy your name calling---so mature ---hint--sarcasm---hint, hint) actually do have some good ideas?

while I don't believe kennedy was that good of a president, the modern dumbocrat is nothing like the democrats of yesterday. It blows me away how no one can see how the democrat party is going socialist. It is not what it used to be. aw... I thought my name calling was funny...

momalle1, how about reading that article before you make a flip comment like that. The congresional budget office web site would help prove my case to you.. so look it up.
