Holy Qualifying Crash MCDOWELL
This is one of the few events we watch so attentitively and are in a better mood after watching it. Almost anything worth watching these days ends with tragedy.
Earnhart's fatal wreck was not even a fraction of the severity as this, just a few years too soon. Something had to put an end to his success :[ Gnarly.

I sense a lot of Jr. bashing from Stewart fans, who now either have to root for a Toyota, or now have to root for Big Ears...
Either way, Jr. is not over rated. He has the talent, and is showing it this year. Just needed to get out from under the wicked step mothers' control.

I have never understood the people that bitch about Jr. He isn't the best driver out there, but he is in the top 10 - 12 for sure. He will get everything he needs to win at Hendrick. He just needs to learn to quit chewing up his equipment 2/3's of the way through the race.

Earnhart's impact was worse. The best thing to happen to Mcdowell yesterday was he hit a "soft wall" and the car flipped, which in turn dissapated much of the force.
Dale hit a concrete wall at roughly the same speed and stopped.
Question:
What or even, who do you think aborbed the force of that impact?
