Truck driving is a very lonesome career, i can see it pushing the emotional limits of some people. That is pretty crazy though. I agree on it being suicide, no doubt. He was going damn fast when he crashed.

One thing for sure is he didn't fall asleep. He was driving crazy before hopping the median and driving close to 20km (around 12 miles) on the wrong side. The video in the second link had one witness that said the guy just looked crazed, angry and zoned out. It's just a miracle that the truck driver was the only casualty. The RCMP said as far as they know no one else was even injured.

Damn, ya beat me to it. . .

that just puts more of leash on truck drivers, suicide or just asleep at the wheel. I already feel bad for the truckers. The costs, the restrictions... Truck driving nowdays is a bunch of bull. I'd never drive one, just wrench on them!

Thank god that was a railway overpass he tried to jump instead of a highway overpass with other vehicles driving under it!

That could have got realllly nasty!
