Riding Lawnmower Racing

Looking for a good foundation. I have asked around and got a thousand different answers. Looking for something with a low CG & something manual so I can regear it. Would be nice to have a Briggs motor as I know parts would be cheap and plentiful. Anyone know anything about this? I am going to look at 3 mower's on Sunday and any info would be great

Why not just combine them and make a beer helmet? You know, the ones with the hoses coming into your mouth

I dunno about racin'... but I'd sure like to see an offroad lawn mower competition... like mud bogging or something.
