I'd pick the Saleen based on looks alone. Personally, those are the only new model Mustangs I care for as far as looks go.

Ha, this is right up my alley. I did an extreme ammount of research over the past few months on both. I quickly stopped looking at the saleen, its not the same as the 99-04, it looks lame imo. As for the Roush, wow. 427s are NICE!!! I assume its a 427r by the way. That means you have a supercharger and suspension system, and probably have the roush leather interior. if you can get a vin on the roush, you can then go to roushperformance.com and see if it trully is a roush. you just need the last 6 digits. there are so many clones out there, it wouldnt be worth gettin ripped. low mileage 07 roush 427r would be around $35k, anything less than that your getting a deal, anything more, you need to haggle more. what kind of color is it? what other options besides standard roush components does it have? short throw? 14 inch brake upgrade? vert? pics would be great. fnsweet.com helped me on my quest and its a great place for roush owners and future owners and highly recommend it, tons of advice.

Roush all the way. Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords just tested an auto 427 and ran 12.20.

Not that a Saleen wouldn't do that, but the all round package of the Roush appeals more to me.

Roush by why not just build your own? You've done it with your truck?

both black of course. Im checking out their upgrades. Ill let you know.

If I just built my own it would probably cost the same if not more to do that then to just buy a real one. And a real one would obviously have a better resale value.

If I absolutely HAD to chose one of those cars, I'd probably go with the Roush.
