Nope---it is whatever the umpire says it is that day!

I was going to say depends on the umpire. Each umpire has a different strike zone..also depends on the game situation.

From "A League of Their Own"---"It may not have been a strike yesterday, and it probably won't be a strike tomorrow, but it is a strike today."

Exactly but it can be really frustrating as a pitcher to not get a call your way. In my opinion its easier to shake off a bad strike as a hitter, as long as its not strike three, than it is as a pitcher. You have to be tough mentally as a pitcher and gut it out.

Remember, nobody is perfect. Pitchers make mistakes, batters make mistakes, and fielders commit errors. Coaches call for things that don't come off right. In a nine inning college game, I might see 250 pitches. If I miss 8 pitches, I am still at 97%, which is an "A" in a gradebook. Even the pros miss 'em. It is all part of the game.
