Air Tools
Air Tools
Just got a compresor and I saw this at Wal-Mart the other day. Seems like a good deal to me, considering just an impact wrench can cost more than the whole package.
Anybody have this set? I'm thinking about getting it. I'd really only be using it to rotate my tires and some basic stuff, and I'd probably use the air hammer every now and then. I wonder if the quality is any good? I know it's not the best, but I have no need/interest in spending hundreds of dollars on a bunch of seperate pieces.

It's oiled.
I figured as much - getting what you pay for. Just wondering if anybody happened to have one and could attest to it's quality.
I might just keep my eyes peeled for an impact wrench at Harbor Freight. They always have crap on sale there. Not sure about the quality you might find there though as well.

Hell, for 54 bucks, even if they last a year it's probably worth it. You'll get your money's worth even if they are probably chinese made (what isn't). You pay more for the air tools that require less cfm's and operate better over long uses. I find you should spend good money on Dual Action Sanders and palm sanders when say stripping paint on a car. Another example is power in a air impact socket. More power, less cfm's and more money. Spend good money if you plan on using them alot.
Don't forget Ingersall Rand. I have one of the 1/2" Ti ones and it puts some of the Snap On ones to shame when it comes to busting loose power.

Unless ur a mechanic there is no need to own snap on tools yes they are very good quality tools hell i use them but for a back yard mechanic i would stick with craftsman.
