I'm a southern boy, grew up mostly in Florida, and while it was a bad storm, it's nothing to feel bad about. Shoveling the driveway sucked bigtime for sure. We had three people who died here as a result of the storm. But they didn't die from weather conditions, they died shoveling their dang driveway! We wound up going out in the storm though...we had tickets to the hockey game and didn't know there was a driving ban!

The F150 isn't the ideal vehicle in this weather so it stayed covered in snow this weekend. What with it being 2WD and those awful stock Conti's on it, it pretty much sucks in the snow. My wife's FWD CRV with GoodYear Assurance TripleTred's on it rocked the snow though. Only got semi-stuck one time at a stoplight on an unplowed street. A little reverse and back forward and we were rolling again.

Sunday though, with the driveway cleared, the storm gone and the sun out we went outside and had some fun. My wife is a born and raised Texan and she'd never made a snowman. So we headed out and built one, jumped in teh snowdrifts and generally acted like a couple of kids. Brought the dog outside and chased her around, buried her and threw snow in her face and she'd bark all to heck but kept coming back for more.
