Global Warming: Is It Really a Crisis?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,334682,00.html

John McCain, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton all promise massive new regulations that will cost trillions of dollars to combat global warming. McCain says that it will be his first task if he wins the presidency. After consulting with Al Gore, Obama feels the problem is so imminent that it is not even really possible to wait until he becomes president.

Ironically, this political unanimity is occurring as global temperatures have been cooling dramatically over the last decade.
I wish more people would see Global Warming for what it really is. A politicians' dream, ie a force fed joke.

I don't remember anyone saying we have "no effect at all". IIRC, the main argument is about the politicians and nut-huggers claiming we're having way more effect than is real.

Do humans damage the Earth? Yes.
Do humans pollute the atmosphere? Yes.
Do humans cause mass destruction of animal habitat/animals? Yes.
Is it time you turn in your fossil fuel guzzling, atmosphere polluting, lil animal squishing F150 for a Prius? If you're so concerned about global warming... YES!

One thing I dont get about this whole "we are gonna cause the end of the world" is this, if the world was hot, then frozen over (ice age) and has warmed and cooled in cycles throughout history how the hell is my truck causing it this time. Oh and I guess when I use the wood stove Im also melting the ice on Mars (it is melting as well) cause there is no way it could just be a natural course again now could it

Ive read way too many of these BS "reports" and the only conclusion I come to is these "scientists" are spewing the same methane they are crying about

Neither did mine...

But from the looks of that picture, it was caused by one of these:

So it had nothing to do with the human race...

I hope you are joking... in the comical sense of why I put it in this thread... if you are still lost... it is implying that my truck, with that shop vac filter, will reduce greenhouse emissions by filtration. Which, we all know is BS. So why not make fun of it? I sure did...

If you are wondering what it is... it's a filter off a shop vac...
