Vote for the BONE (B-1B)

Hey guys lets rock the vote for the B-1 and get the cover. I have close family ties the B-1B and it would be pretty cool.
To All,
For your information the Smithsonian Air and Space Magazine is running
an article about "How the B-1 got Respect" this April. They are
holding a vote for the magazine cover. If you think the B-1 should be
on the cover your vote may help sway the decision.
Here is the website.

Thanks

Several years ago I watched a B1-B take off from Ellsworth AFB in SD right over the interstate. Gawd, that thing just thundered overhead. Cool to watch.

A few years ago one did a high speed fly by in Long Beach in CA. Needless to say there were several broken windows and people in a whole lot of trouble. Amazing how small a fighter looks next to a B1. I have been fortunate to be at Edwards AFB while B-1 set 50 world records for payload, speed and distance.

Cool facts >
In operation Enduring Freedom, B-1Bs accounted for 5% of the strike sorties into Afghanistan and dropped more than 70% of the precision-guided JDAM weapons.
In Operation Iraqi Freedom the B-1Bs demonstrated similar performance with 1% of the combat sorties yet 22% of the guided weapons.

B-2 is neat but B-1 is the work horse.
