very interesting. I have an old scanner that only picks up a few local things cuz it runs on the crystal system, and i always wondered if there was a way to do it with pcs. None in that listing are around me unfortunately.

I have a scanner in my truck-love this thing, need to find the new frequencies though, mine are few years old. Hear some interesting things on it to-aside from the many cell phone conversations i have heard-it came across once that a 4yr boy called 911 because his 2yr old brother found a dead lady bug in the house, the sheriff responded to the call to give the kids proper education on the use of 911 response.
