That sucks. He made some really nice cars.

 

While I REALLY dislike his style in design (save for some of his wheels) I can't deny that he was a heck of an artist and enthusiast. Thats a shame he had to pass. My Pops is 63 as well, and while he's healthy as an OX, I worry about my parents getting old.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing at such an early age. Whether or not you liked his style, he really had some neat ideas... And to be perfectly honest, I could name plenty of other other people I would not mind to hear have left this world.
I hope his passing was painless... And that there's one 'heck' of a shop in heaven!

Glad I knew of him before his TV show because he was a pioneer in the streetrod world back in the day. The show did help me understand why he divorced his first wife.

 

Can not say the same for his wheels, those smoothie II's that spat a valvestem at 80mph almost did me in at the ripe old age of 26, I will not speak bad of the dead, and he had a huge influence in the custom streetrod scene, but man did those wheels suck the big sweaty one.
