It just SEEMS like the worlds brightest flashlight because it catches stuff on fire when you use it. Of course it's bright when your house is burning down!

one of my friends (who has a flashlight fetish mind you) found a flashlight that used a big maglight "frame" and a 747 landing gear bulb

i would look into buying that just for the shear fact that if i get lost, stranded, or run out of things to make fire with, it would be a great asset to get your fire going again.


other than that i think its pretty much useless.

I'm thinking about modifying a MagLite 6D cell to do 150 watt halogen flashlight using a 24 volt LiIon DeWalt drill battery. Battery life 10 minutes... but to beat the world record. Priceless.
