Unless you have a crankstart diesel your F-150 won't go too far without electricity.

I run Napa/Valvoline in my rigs with Wal-Mart Motorcraft filters. I tried Motorcraft oil in my F-150 once, the engine was mechanically louder so I went back. I have about 54k and so far so good.

I read a lot over on the BITOG Forums (www.bobistheoilguy.com).

A lot of professionals, factory reps, oil analysis experts etc. over there. Mobil 1 isn't very highly regarded. Recently Pennzoil Platinum has been suggested by many as the way to go for on-the-shelf synthetics. Of course there is Amsoil, Schaffers etc. but as far as stuff you can get anywhere it's the best right now

Royal Purple, I get a good deal on it so why not? It's a good piece of mind.
