Money as debt.

If you ever have 45 minutes to kill you owe it to yourself to watch this film. It tells you about the history of our nations monetary system and explains what the federal reserve system is and how it all works. Unfortunately for generations we have been enslaved by the federal reserves fiat currency and the main reason is the publics lack of knowledge regarding our monetary system.

Most people don't realize that there is nothing federal about the federal reserve. They are an unregulated group of elite bankers who have nothing to do with our government. In 95 years of operation, they have never once been audited. They have stolen the wealth of this country through inflation of the currency and it's time the American people wake up to this fact. Enjoy...

I haven't watched that video, but you are correct that the "Federal Reserve" has nothing to do with the federal government. It's a privately held entity that "should" have no authority to do anything. It's a private bank.

Kinda the same thing as, according to the U.S. Constitution, you only should pay tax on your income if that income is derived from a foreign country.

They prosecute the mobsters under the very RICO laws that by definition our government violates.

But hey, whatcha gonna do? No one (besides Ron Paul) is fed up enough with it yet.

Give it a little more time. When the dollar collapses, people will be curious as to the reason why. Nobody cares yet because they're still getting by.

The tens of billions of dollars of trade deficits with other countries and remittances (mainly to Mexico) doesn't help either.

The $1.1 trillion per year we borrow from China to fight the Iraq war is also a factor.
