For snowy winter days, or on the ice, Rocky Blizzard Stalkers. Mine are camo colored:

I don't see any difference in comfort between the Tech 8s or the Tech 12s, the Tech 12s just look like a god damn space boot. I'd stick with a set of white Tech 8s.

For work, my last two pairs of Harley's have treated my well. I have a wide foot, and Harley's have my size. These are another fave of the Japanese girls in skirts with cell phones:

I haven't looked at boots in a long time so I have no idea. But do the Tech 12s still have the plastic latches? I HATED that about them. The Tech 6s aren't a bad boot, I learned how to ride on a pair of Tech 6s than moved onto MANY pairs of Tech 8s. The best boots IMO.

I spent the day stomping through the muck on the jobsite ... my feet were dry. Belleville Gortex military boots. About $30 new on ebay. I challenge any one to find a better boot for the price.

I used to own a few pair back in the 90's. After a few months of wearing them, I noticed a certain wild shoe odor emanating from them. They don't breath very well, but I always liked the steel-toe, ***** kicker look.

Where do you live? I guess if you lived where Chumfx4 or I lived, you wouldn't know anyone who didn't own rainbow sandals...

BTW Chum,
I live about 20 minutes from their factory/wholesale store. Got any requests? I need to get another pair for Cancun anyway.

They are Rainbows, with the hemp covering. They also come in leather, but the leather ones get real slick when wet. I have the hemp ones in black and natural (pictured) These are the most comfortable slaps that I have found. It's like being barefoot! I have worn out probably 6 pairs already! I usually get 2-3 years out of a pair.

I need like 3 pairs of the natural hemp ones, but the old design. The way they are making them now is lame. The strap that goes between your toes is too far back, they fit like crap. The old ones do not have the 2 lines of stiching on the strap. If they have some old ones leftover, I'll send you a check! Mens large please!

I am an appraiser, so most days I am in the office, slaps and shorts are the norm. Cold days (the few that we have) I will wear full shoes, and when I have to do an inspection, I will wear full shoes. But probably 4 out of the 5 work days, I am wearing slaps. I am wearing them right now!!
