roush and shelby mustang

I went up to the local mall and dealership had some of there cars in the parking lot. They had a black 427R supercharged Roush and blue Shelby GT mustang. Shelby was going for 45000.00(dealer mark up price) sticker said 30000.00. 15000.00 dealer mark up! Roush went for 48000.00. I don't think there was no dealer mark up price.

You're not buying a Mustang. You're buying $20K worth of Carroll $helby's name on the product. Some people love that old Chicken Farmer enough to pay that. I ain't one of 'em.

Carroll Shelby's name should be spelled like this ($helby) from this day forward.

No not buying one. Just happen to go to the mall and today and seen them. So I thought I would stop and take a look.. if I would buy another vehicle, it would be a blue lightning.

If the mustangs are still there tomorrow I'll take some pics. I didn't have my camera with me today. If I had my choice I would buy the roush. Shelby Gt wasn't supercharged. Plus the salesman was there. They may take the mustangs home so nobody steals them.

You don't think 10K over the price of a regular GT, that's essentially the same vehicle, is a little steep? I do. I don't hold $helby in that high of regard. I can see a 60's Cobra going for a lot of cash, but not a run of the mill Mustang GT with his monicer plastered all over it. But that's just me.

I didn't say it wasn't steep but so are the Roush Mustangs.

I think it's safe to say where I stand on the issue since I've got a "run of the mill" Mustang GT.

If I decide to sell a truck it would be an '03 Blue lightning. (About 18,000 miles) If you get serious about buying, I would think about selling........ maybe...... LOL
