Wrong! A redneck country girl is loud, obnoxious, insanely jealous, and without understanding of the concept of personal responsibility for their actions. They are the type of girl in the song. Assume the worst, overreact, and act indignant when someone gets upset about it.

Carrie Underwood just sang a song that appeals to the inner redneck country girl in all women. It doesn't mean she is one. I doubt very seriously that she even wrote it.

I personally agree with this definition. I've met way to many yankees and Canadian girls who were "loud, obnoxious, insanely jealous, and without understanding of the concept of personal responsibility for their actions". In Florida, you see ALL types.

 

I've lived in the South my whole life and redneck is not a good thing to be called... Unless you are a proud redneck.

 

I think we are all aware that there is a difference between "redneck" and "southern". I am a proud "southerner".

 

Judging from some of the posts... Apparently not.

 

Since we are talking about northerner and southerner Heres a couple jokes:
Whats the difference between northerner fairytale and southerner fairytale:
northerner fairytale begins with "once upon a time" and southerner begins with "y'all ain't believe this sh**."
