im thinking about buying a 2000 f150 xlt heavy half, 4x4,5.4 v8 power everything with 77,000 miles hes asking 7200 for it and the only problem i c is rust on the bottoms of the door i was just wondering if anyone could tell me if its a good truck and if its worth the price

 

That isnt a bad deal assuming the truck is in good mechanical condition. How bad is the rust?

 

it looks like its just surface rust on the outside and a little flacking on the inside im going to c if i can have linex sparayed over it if i decide to buy

 

Like scott said, how bad is the rust? Is it the rust on the inside bottom lip of the doors? If so, some light rust is normal there...

 

Is it a single owner? Do they have reciepts from maintenence?

 

yep its a single owner has all the mantinence records for it everything was done at the dealer were it was bought the owner is a brother of my dads friend so its not just some stranger

 

Thats actually a really good deal. Make sure it has plenty of pad life left on the brakes, tires are in decent shape, motor does not smoke & if the interior is in decent shape jump on this
