Target sees Red
Target sees Red
The staff in the US Target stores usually wear a red shirt to stand out from the customers. The billion dollar retail chain tell the staff to provide their own shirts. 24-year-old Antonio McKenzie walked into a number of stores in southern Florida wearing a red polo shirt.
He helped a few customers, stacked some shelves as he made his way to the electronic section. Then after helping himself to $17-thousand worth of Apple's iPod Touch music players he just walked out unchallenged.
He was however noticed on security camera as he stood out from real employees who didn't do as much work as he did. Paul Dayton the store manager was tracking his moves on the security system as a potential employee of the month.

I used to work at a target. What a joke that was. They dont know wtf they are doing in there. Trust me. Oh and that target is some where in south florida, i wonder where? I might know it
I was friends with some guys in high school that used to go to Target and go back to the hardware aisle and pick out a real expensive saw or tool and then walk straight up to the customer service desk and try to return it. Since they didn't have a receipt they would just give them store credit. These guys would just go and buy a bunch of CD's and whatever else they wanted! I'm glad I wasn't part of that or I would have that on my concious.

The worst I’ve seen is Circuit City. I was there recently and observed the staff. They were clearly preoccupied with some kind of social circle within the store. It reminded me of something you would see ten or eleven year olds engaging in. I thought of myself at eighteen and realized there was something drastically wrong with the development of these kids. I would call them retarded but would not want to denigrate all people with severe mental handicaps because many would at least try to help you. No these kids has something else wrong with them and it was deeply disturbing. One wonders if they were bitch slapped they might come out of their stupor, at least momentarily, and function as a normal human or not.
Target is the overpriced WALMART IMO! I don't really like Target and the employees at my Target are dumb as s*** but whatever, they deserved it. Watching him for employee of the month..... PRICELESS
My buddy in high school would send his little brother into wal-mart to steal for him. Kid must have been about 10-12 years old. This was before they'd lock up the game sysems (N64 had jus come out). Anyway the kid would go in with a big walmart bag stuffed in his pants with a receipt and a small stapler. He'd take what he wanted and wander around the store, until he got to an area where there were no cameras. Put the merch in the bag staple a receipt to it and walk out the front door. He must have stole a dozen game systems and other stuff before they started locking stuff up.
ok i was at a car audio place with a friend when he put a much more expensive sub in a cheaper ones box and paid for the cheaper one lol
one time i was at walmart and only the self check out was open(very late at night) and of coarse no body knew how to use it so the line got pretty long and after a while the guy behind me just walked up to a closed register and put his stuff in a bag an walked out, funniest **** ive ever seen

The same thing used to happen ALL the time when I worked at Wal-Mart. You'd be surprised at how many people don't even think to ask who you are if you're in the back room. There's so many people working there that most of the employees don't know who's who. Try walking into the back room some day. 10-1 says you don't even get a weird look.
What really got our store though was this ring of thieves in the whole bay area that would hit Wal-Marts late at night, load up a cart full of electronics and other really expensive items, and then run through a fire exit to a waiting van. By the time someone came over to check it out they were long gone. They took our district for something like $100,000 in a matter of months. They used to steal the merchandise and trade it for drugs.
Shoplifting is so easy it's ridiculous. It just takes a lot of ***** to muster up the courage to pull something off like that.

I wear a shirt and tie to work and many times I have been asked for assistance when I go to a store on the way home or during lunch. It is funny how people just assume I am an employee of the store.
I don't have a name tag or anything.
