Need Presentation Ideas---->
Im in need of a presentation topic:
Graduate School (MBA) Multimedia class. We've got to give a presentation next week on a timely business issue or professional development topic that will be of value to MBA students seeking advancement in a business career.
The teacher is a big time perfectionist and expects mind-blowing presentations, so it will not be easy. It needs to be as original as we can make it and it doesn't need to be a topic that will bore us business kids to death, and also leave the audience with motivation to act upon our message.
For example, last semester, 2 guys gave a presentation about protecting your companies computer systems. Sounds boring, but their presentation gave lots of scary statistics and examples about how poorly managed computer networks can cost companies millions of dollars. Their presentaiton was so convincing that after the speech, some class members went and bought anti-virus software for their personal computers.
Any ideas? My partner and I are currently throwing around the idea of why managers fail in the real world, and building on that, showing that no task is too small or un-important even for top management. All of you with good experience, let me have it!

How about the effects of illegal immigration on small business. The consequences of hiring illegals over americans. Look into the new laws requiring businesses to check citizenship before hiring. You could also go into the legal ramifications of hiring them and getting caught. Just an idea. It would probably open a whole can of worms, but it does have an impact on business.
Predatory lending practices: The collapse of an economy is in the margins.
Reverse mortgages: Making the elderly homeless for pennies on the dollar.
Promoting the American dream: Outsourcing by undercutting the union worker the American way.
