All is well in Louisville and the immediate area... there was, however, widespread damage in a few communities here in KY.

Muhlenburg County, KY had three fatalities and numerous injuries. Allen County, Kentucky had four fatalities.

Countless trees down and lots of minor injuries. Tennessee seems to have received the brunt end of the stick.

Two friends that I work with were very lucky. The tornado that went through that area passed within 50 yards of their homes.

That's only 5 miles from me as the crow flies. And I slept through it all!

I'm OK. Some hit here in LA pretty good. I feel really bad for the mother and baby that got caught in it. The mother died but the baby was tossed like 150 yards away and lived. It's a sad story.

yeah i believe the death toll is up over 55 or around there, and injuries are hundreds more.

I'm glad we have no tornadoes here, but its only a matter of time until that big ol' earthquake strikes that they predict is on the way.

Anyone know if Troy Alabama got hit?

I have a long lost brother there that I haven't heard from in a few years. I hope he and his family are ok.

I don't think the storm front went that far down. I've heard nothing about Troy. No news is good news.
