Well I decided to take my dad's truck earlier and give it a good wash and put a coat of wax on it for him since he never does. Man how much of a difference his truck is compared to mine. Here's the stats on his truck 99 F150 4.2 V6,2wd,Reg Cab with a 6.5ft bed manual transmission and 3.73 rear end! Mods:K&N Air Filter with modified intake, true dualed exhaust! My truck is an 04 F150 Crew Cab,5.4 V8, 2wd, 5.5ft Bed, Automatic Transmission and 3.73 Rear end! Mods:K&N Air Filter with modified intake, True Dualed exhaust! First thing I really noticed getting inside his truck was how small his cab now feels since I got my crew cab! This truck used to be my ride in high school and the cab alway's felt bigger. After driving it a little bit and blowing some carbon out of the exhaust! I noticed that although my truck has more power his still feels pretty peppy for a V6. I also noticed that his truck rides rougher than mine and my truck fits me better! Upon backing out of the driveway I also noticed how much better the rear visibility is in his truck compared to mine. One thing that I miss not having in my truck is the manual tranny, I love being able to decide when I wanna change the gears. His truck has proven to be pretty tough! With over 139,000 miles and only haveing to change one sensor and doing routine maintenance. I sure hope my truck holds up as good as his has!
