I've had three XLT SCrews over the years, and all three performed very well. No major problems at all.

I drove my 2001 and 2006 for two years each. I've only had my 2007 for two months, but so far so good, and I don't expect any major issues.

I think owners that don't have problems may not be reading and/or contributing to problem topic threads............

Well....

when a truck comes down the line, I look at the build ticket and if it is a lower end vehicle I grab one of the defective parts from the "defective" parts bin and I usually leave off 1 or 2 nuts or bolts............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................NOT.

They are all built the same way with the same parts but the company is always looking for "lower cost" parts. Take that how you like.

LOL!!!!!!

Yeah......I recently pulled one of my neighbors out of a snowbank. She was driving a Ford Fusion, and happened to be a Ford Engineer. I looked under the back of the car for a tow hook, and yelled out to here that there wasn't one. She cried, "It must have gone in the last cost reduction!" I was able to get a hook into a notch on the unibody anyway, but those cost cuts are everywhere!
