So? Do you realize how big those companies are? Do you realize that they are making about 8-9% profit in there company? That is not unheard of in business. The company I work for made 24% net profit for 2007. Big = more. As a percentage they aren't out of line. What is your point?

As a percentage, if I was a stockholder, I would be giving them he!! for not making more. The percentage should be higher. Look at M$, about 23% profit.

With that much profit, you'd think they buy more than just one extra vowel.....

holy ****... don't you understand anything about business? it is there job to make money. You and I could own stock in that company if we have a 401k, or stocks.
So your liberal *** wants to punish a company for what they are supposed to do?? Look at this.... if they lowered the price and made less profit, we would use more... and guess what? they would make more profit! And there would be a shortage. Blame the people responsible. blame the ****ing dumbocrats for not letting us drill for oil and increase refinery capacity! Get a clue dude.

If you would have only stated what I highlighted in bold...you would have come off as somewhat intelilligent...

...but you forgot to mention, that there is no way of increasing refinery capabilities due to the "Clean Air Act"...
