If he was being a BIG ***** he could have cited you for the eyebrow strip. Looks like its below the AS1 mark to me.

Yeah, when I was out in Arizona, those cops did not play with the dark tint. Every time we went to Tucson, no matter how hot or cold, my friend Paul, with the 5.0L would roll the windows down, to keep Tucson cops from stopping us. He had limo tint (5%) all the way around.

A friend of mine had a Maxima (5% on it too) and he got pulled over on Highway 90, and the cop whipped out a razor blade, and made him peel it off, right then and right there.

The next day, he went back to the tint shop and had it re-tinted.

Nothing looks more "stupid" than dark tint on the back windows, and no tint on the front (HINT-HINT: New Jersey). However, I understand the police need to feel safe.

Here in TX, our law allows nothing darker than 35% on the front. You can spray paint the back windows black if you wish, but those fronts can't be darker than 35%.

They (Texas) don't play with that AS1 line either.
