we have this punk a$$ kid at work, telling me that he will out run me in my ford. now get this. he has a small v8 4x4 king cab dodge with 33" tires and everything about the truck is still stock. he told me that he can beat me in the 1/4 and top end. now my truck has been reprogramed for the 1/4 and top end. mine will not shut off until it hits 120mph. and yes, i have had it to 119mph. do you think this guy(kid) is stupid or has lost it? feed back please, is it possible? to me, i don't thick so.

sorry, i left this part out. just yesterday, going home from work, he pulls up beside me on the interstate, we were doing about 60, and he smiles at me and guns it. so i gun it and just walk off and leave him behind. but today, he has this this excuse for why i left him, saying that he let off. the whole time all i heard was his motor about to blow. kids these days at the age of 20 to 25 think they know everything. i told him that i have forgot more than he will ever know.

 

So you just posted this today about wondering if you can beat him, yet... you clearly already did? What am I missing? You already know your answer - go beat 'em again though just to rub it in!

 

Thats 4.7 is a dog, even in the Dakota. You can easily walk on him with a lightly modded 4.6

 

thats what i have been trying to tell him, but you know how the kids are these days. FULL OF IT... oh, i meant full of chit. to me, all other brands of vehicles out there are copy cats of ford.

 

Do you think my slightly moded 5.4 would beat a saturn ion engine only with 2.0 SUPER DUPER CHARGED stock non moded engine!?!? It also has 18" rims, a wing, and a body kit! Plus tinted windows! This guy looks reeeeeaaaallll faasssssssst ! Help me out, I have a small weeny and need some confidence boosting.

Um, you keep referring to this guy as a kid...yet you are racing him on public roads, have to have a ***** comparing contest and have done 120mph in your truck...I presume also on public roads. How old are you?

Here's a hint...if he pulls up next to you and rev's his engine...smile, wave, flip him the bird, whatever...and let him go on his way.
