I have a new product to keep tonneau covers from flying off when doing 75mph on a windy day looking for feedback if this is common

Same here, no issues with it blowing off or tearing.

Indeed, it's not a common problem... If a tonneau cover is properly designed, it should not fly off at speed. I've had them on my trucks for almost 20 years now, and have yet to have one come loose.

Pretty lame sales pitch if you are trying to sell something...

If you are indeed having an issue with your cover coming off at speed, then how is attached to the bed? Is it Velcro, snaps or what??

I've got a cheapie "Le-Bra" POS cover that uses a 'rail and groove' to attach the cover... Kinda like a 'zip lok' sandwich baggie and it's worked fine for over 7 years...

My only problem that has occurred within the last year is one of the rear corner stitching has given up and is loose... But, it still stays on??

Is this a hard cover or soft cover you are talking about??

Sounds kinda suspicious for someone with zero posts.....

Mitch

I'm not an English or grammar teacher, but you might want to consider using some punctuation in your posts. BTW, I don't have a cover yet, but I've never heard of this happening to anyone. Post some kind of link or pictures to what you have instead of just saying you have a product.

Good luck!

If you're tonneau is slipping off or it flies off while you're driving, you definitely did NOT install it correctly. Read the manual...

I had a cap fly off of my ex brother-in-laws truck driving down the freeway. Thankfully, no one was behind me and let me tell you, it was flippin funny as hell.
I was a teenager(approx 20 yrs ago(holy chit)) and we were driving down I76 and I kept looking in the mirror cause' I swore the cap kept moving. Next thing ya' know the thing looked like a para sail in the wind getting higher and higher. Then it floated back to the pavement and that was all she wrote, it wasn't pretty. It was one of those like 70's aluminum type of caps. After it hit we just decided to keep on truckin'.
