If people want to fall on their swords because someone else won't accept personal responsibility, so be it. If you feel that it's worth leaving, nothing I can do about it. Lotsa options out there these days, hopefully you can find one that suits your needs and loves martyrs.

Interesting lline of thinking but a patently false assumption, so don't go spreading that rumor. I am still involved, though less, and have a financial incentive to keep the site moving in a positive direction.

It's just a matter that's not worth caring too much about. The user knew the consequence and opted to continue down the path. If dozens of people leave because they feel that our action was wrong then they probably are better off at an anything goes type site.

Nah, I didn't take it that way, I saw the smiley face. Just wanted to nip the rumor in the bud before the conspiracy folks ran with it. Not getting paid to moderate, and I (contractually) can't get into the details, sorry!

 

I figured I'd be getting that kind of answer, but it never hurts to ask.

 

Am I the only one that sees Dave's actions of posting or passing around a picture of a female friend, a picture that was most likely given to him in confidence, a totally classless act that could get this site in trouble, should the party in the picture feel like suing? They provided the medium for his actions. I see them as protecting themsleves. If someone gives me a picture, I have no right to pass that around without permission. It is not the same as getting a pic of some model from the net and posting it. Some people need to grow up a bit.
